This was pretty interesting. I did the assignment along with the post-grad work.
del.icio.us
7 09 2008What a great site! I searched for “used CDs”, “80s music”, “library architechture”, etc. I could do this all day! Of the websites I posted to my del.icio.us account, I really like the librophiliac love letter (beautiful pictures of library architecture from around the world) and 80s Music Videos website (totally cheesy fun…they have retro games too. Somehow Asteroids and Space Invaders looked so much cooler when I was kid.) I will definitely use del.icio.us.

Flickr
7 09 2008I have not used Flickr before. I have been using Shutterfly and recently created a website with my son Dylan’s pictures on it. (That was fun.)
Here are two pictures that I uploaded on Flickr that do not go together at all:

Wikis
7 09 2008Okay, since I’m working from home I do not have access to Staffnet and can’t post a staff pick. I have visited Wikipedia several times and just got an account so that I can edit content on Wikipedia…I have yet to do so. This means I have not posted or edited any wikis, just visited them (including the Staff Picks on our library website.

My web 2.0 (less than 7 hours left)
7 09 2008Hi everyone! I’m enjoying my maternity leave and having a great time with my son, Dylan. I know the 10 weeks of Web 2.0 are over and my hopes of getting the CCC Library coffee mug are looking grim. I have until 12am tonight to do all 10 things. Now, I may not finish them all, but I will have fun trying. My blog is called Baby, Baseball, Books blog because those are my favorite “B” things in that order.
